James is passionate about the football industry and improving opportunities for goalkeepers through coaching and mentoring programmes. He is ambitious and has a natural affinity with footballers of all levels. James has experience of coaching many different nationalities, throughout the Oceania region, Asia and Africa.
He knows what it takes to get a player to the top and how to provide coaches with structured training to enable players to reach their dreams. He has combined his coaching experience with powerful leadership techniques along with up to date knowledge from premier level coaching professionals in Europe. This means that James’ training approach is uniquely placed to combine professional experience with a holistic training approach to provide courses that meet the needs of both goalkeepers and goalkeeper coaches

An unrivalled understanding of and passion for goalkeeping in football
INGOAL was started by James Bannatyne, an experienced goalkeeper. The highlight of James' career was representing New Zealand at the FIFA World Cup in South Africa in 2010.
He also has had a long playing career including time with the Football Kingz in Auckland, National League titles with Miramar Rangers and Auckland City as well as successful playing stints with Team Wellington, Petone and Canterbury United in a career spanning 20 years.
