James Bannatyne

An experienced coach educator, INGOAL’s James Bannatyne is one of Oceania’s most trusted names in goalkeeping. James knows what it takes to get a player to the top and how to provide coaches with structured training to enable players reach their dreams.

He has combined his coaching experience with powerful leadership techniques along with up to date knowledge from premier level coaching professionals around the world. This means that James’ training approach is uniquely placed to combine professional experience with a holistic training approach to provide courses that are continually evolving to remain the top of the industry.

Goalkeeping coach - Auckland

Isaac Tetteh

Isaac is currently Head of Goalkeeping at Auckland United FC. His experience includes coaching the Football Ferns and NZF age group teams.

Growing up in Ghana, West Africa, Isaac started playing football as soon as he could walk.

His passion for football and goalkeeping led to a professional contract as a goalkeeper in the Red Bull Ghana project from 2012 to 2014, where he was coached by James Bannatyne, and started his own coaching journey. This experience fostered a lasting friendship. After the Red Bull Ghana project ended, Isaac moved to New Zealand (with the help and support of James) to pursue a career playing and coaching.

He holds the Oceania Football Confederation/New Zealand Football Goalkeeping B License.

Goalkeeping coach - Wellington

Callum Kennett

Callum is currently the Goalkeeper for South Island United and Christchurch United. He was previously Head of Goalkeeping for Upper Hutt City.
The majority of Callum’s playing career has been spent with the Wellington Phoenix Academy. A highlight of his journey came in 2019 when he represented New Zealand at the U17 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Transitioning naturally into coaching, Callum has completed his Oceania Goalkeeper C License and gained strong hands-on experience.

He has served as a goalkeeper coach with the Wellington Phoenix Academy.

Goalkeeping coach - New Zealand

Jonas Hoffmann

Jonas Hoffmann is originally from Germany, where he played for RB Leipzig in his youth, and for the German National team at age group level.

He came to New Zealand to travel the country and was about to travel home when a chance encounter with James Bannatyne convinced him to stay on and get involved in coaching. 

His experience in New Zealand includes a time as Head Coach for Waiheke United, and Goalkeeper Coach for Auckland City FC, where he travelled with the team to the FIFA Club World Cup (USA 2025).

He has delivered Goalkeeping courses for OFC, and delivered Goalkeeper Coach Education with New Zealand Football. He works with a range of clubs throughout New Zealand in a mentoring capacity. 

In Germany he worked as a goalkeeper coach for clubs including Hansa Rostock and Greifswalder FC.

Jonas has a UEFA Goalkeeper B-License, and is working on his AFC Goalkeeper A-License.  He also holds an outfield UEFA B-License. His passion is supporting goalkeeping projects around New Zealand and the Oceania region. He's currently working with Eastern Suburbs AFC, East Coast Bays and OFC in Auckland.

Goalkeeping coach - Christchurch

Bailey Jordan

Bailey is a Goalkeeper from Christchurch who has played and coached in England, Germany and America. Bailey has had experience working with goalkeeper coaches Fabian Otte (Borussia Mönchengladbach/ US National Team) and Michael Rechner (FC Bayern Munich).
Based in Christchurch, Bailey mainly works in the women's space with Cashmere Technical and regional national league side, Canterbury Pride.

Bailey currently holds the OFC NZF GK C-Licence and is working towards his B.

Goalkeeping coach - New Zealand

Max Tommy

Max Tommy is a goalkeeper for Melville United in Hamilton. He has been with Melville since 2017.

In the 2023 Chatham Cup final he scored a dramatic stoppage-time equaliser that took the match into extra time. Despite Melville losing on penalties, he was awarded the Jack Batty Cup as player of the match for his saves and leadership.

He coaches at Melville United, MT Goal, and for WaiBOP Football.
